Mac OS X's bundles provide an elegant way to localize softwares. The localized user interfaces and strings are stored independently of the source code so that several localizations can be available within an single binary. Then, Mac OS X automatically loads the appropriate resources during the execution of the software.

However, that system also somehow complicates the localization process because it is more difficult to keep the localized resources synchronized with the source code. Maintaining those files is laborious and error prone, the developers thus need adequate tools to wipe those drawbacks out.

Mushroom is an utility which assists Cocoa developers to create and maintain the localized resources of their projects, and the translators to localize existing softwares. Beyond the edition of .strings files, it provides advanced features like the detection of the incoherences between the source code and the localized resources, and the delegation of the localization when working with third party translators.

Mushroom is a fully featured solution which can make you save a considerable amount of time.

Mushroom is a shareware. You can freely download, install and use it during a couple of weeks for evaluation. However, if you plan to keep it after this period, you must purchase a license. You will then receive a personal registration key which will unlock all features. You will get:

	Removal of the localized strings limit. When unregistered, Mushroom allows you to work on a limited number of localized strings only. Extra localized strings are however preserved, you always can save your work safely without losing data.
	Removal of the reminders.
	Free upgrades.
	Free technical support.

The authors retain the right to disable the registration keys. You also understand that the software may perform various operations (including opening network connections) to prevent piracy.

Privacy. The authors are concerned about the respect of the privacy of the users and commit to never retrieve any personal information without the explicit authorization of the user and commit to never disclose or publish such information.
